About Us
Two global building science authorities deliver the only secure, real time, integrated design and construction review platform.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
Based in Champaign, Illinois, the Corps' Construction Engineering Research Laboratory – internationally recognized infrastructure R&D authority – created and maintains the ProjNet platform. In 1998 the U.S. Department of State became ProjNet's first user. State was the first of many Federal agencies and other groups – among them a state government, a major university and an international engineering design firm – to improve their own design review processes with ProjNet.
National Institute of Building Sciences
The Institute administers ProjNet subscriptions and provides user support services.
Washington, DC-based NIBS is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization providing authoritative advice for both the private and public sectors in the use of building science and technology. The Institute derives its expertise by bringing together key representatives of government, the professions, industry, labor and consumer interests to identify and resolve building process and facility problems.
